Andrew- Pinstripe shirt + Cuffed Jeans + Converse

Shirt- American Apparel
Shoes- Converse
Jeans- H&M Skinny Jeans

Andrew described his outfit consisting of a button-up shirt, cuffed jeans, and converse as his uniform while on campus.  I can completely relate to having go-to outfits I can quickly throw on before heading to campus, especially during midterms and finals season.  This New York native's style is classic, and his cuffed jeans and chucks give his outfit a vintage touch.

Ana- Combat Boots + Floral Velvet Jacket + Cuffed Jeans

Thrifting is undoubtedly one of the best ways to find unique pieces on a college budget, and the city of Berkeley definitely has tons of shops to rummage through. Love Ana's mix of masculine pieces, along with a feminine floral velvet jacket.

Top of the Mark and the San Francisco Skyline

I've been aching to get a shot of the San Francisco city skyline from Top of the Mark.  Definitely not disappointed.

Lace Sweater + Polka-dot Jeans

I dug everything about this student's outfit: her polka-dot jeans, lace embellished sweater, or two-tone cross body bag.  And no wonder!  It turns out she works for Anthropologie, where she purchased most of her pieces.  Loved her outfit head to toe.

Cal Campus Girl- Floral Dress + Wingtip Flats

Novermber Art Murmur

Art Murmur, a festival that supports the local art community and culture in the Bay Area, showcases nearly 1,000 local and national artists in 200 exhibitions each year.  This monthly festival brings together great music, art, and food.  Loved sharing the experience with the hubby Jaze, and bandmates Shane and Danica.

Lexi- Oxfords + Peter Pan Collar Top + Brooch

Ran into Lexi in front of Wheeler Hall right before an afternoon class.  I'm not sure what I dig most- Lexi's peter pan collar top peaking through the top of her sweater, her vintage brooch, or her black and white oxfords.

Sweater- It's a Wrap
Peter Pan Collar Top and Pants- Buffalo Exchange
Brooch- gift from grandma
Shoes- Payless kid's section

Anwar: Turquoise Skinnies + Purple top + Neutrals

As the fall rolls around, color palettes for dressing seem to become increasingly monochromatic.  Although I do love the browns, grays and burgundies that are common in the fall season, wearing pops of vibrant hues year round add interest and can be mood-lifters even during drab weather.

Pants- Zara
Flats- Target
Top- Loft
Jacket- J.Crew

Amy- Coral Blazer + Peplum skirt + Polka dots

Blazer- H&M
Top- Forever 21
Skirt- Cotton On
 Shoes- Dolce Vita for Target

His and Hers Style: 60s Mod

60s Mod
The 1960s is by far my favorite decade to draw inspiration from.  The period had such distinct fashion, and I’m very much drawn to the counter-culture styles that developed, especially those that derived from Mod style. The musical roots for 60s Mod subculture came from rocksteady, reggae, northern soul, and ska.  This largely music-based subculture with its affinity for Fred Perry attire, skinny jeans, and Doc Martens continues to be influential.  I’d love to snatch up some of the pieces above for my own wardrobe.

Isaac- Plaid Shirt + Boots + Cuffed Jeans

Had to snap a few shots of this well-dressed classmate.  A plaid shirt is a simple and classic menswear staple.  Isaac paired his with cuffed jeans, dark brown boots and a tan book bag, which originally belonged to his grandfather.

Cassandra- Vintage dress + Bow-Detail Flats + Red Cardigan

Delighted to Spot Casandra near Wheeler Hall, wearing a unique polka-dot and striped dress paired with a red cardigan and bow-detail flats.  Dresses are great go-to pieces when on a time crunch, and can be easily layered depending on the weather.  Love one of a kind vintage finds!

Sunglasses- Gift from mom

Hamilton- Chukka Boots + Cuffed Jeans + Plaid Shirt

Loving the cuffed-up jean look and it seems I'm not alone.  I've been seeing it all over campus.  Hamilton paired his with an on point haircut and tan chukka boots.

Jessica: Chambray Top + Skinnies + Combat Boots

This chambray shirt is one of my current go-to pieces.  Love pairing it with cuffed up dark wash skinnies and combat boots.  I've been looking for a replacement crossbody bag for some time now, and was so excited to find this leather Cambridge Satchel at Crossroads.

Jeans- Vintage Shop Haight & Ashbury
Bag- Cambridge Satchel Crossroads Trading Co

Julie - Black Skinnies + Doc Martens + Jean Jacket

Loving everything about this ensemble: the black cuffed up skinnies paired with the denim jacket, and especially the Doc Martins! With Berkeley's frequent overcast weather, these boots can be worn year round.

Lothilde- Leather Jacket + Gold Heel Flats + Cuffed-Up Jeans

Spotted this French international student near Wheeler Hall.  Loved her cuffed up jeans and the gold accents on both her leather motorcycle jacket and ballet-style flats.

Shelby: Stripes + Gold Accessories + Combat Boots + Blazer

Dress & Blazer- Forever 21
Watch- Michael Kors

Jenny- Jean Jacket + Tribal Print Top + Gray Combat Boots

Jenny is wearing some of the my current go to styles: tribal prints and combat boots.  She pairs them with a a jean jacket and cat-eye sunglasses, which happen to be my favorite style of shades.

Alex - Maxi Dess + Pop of Yellow

Maxi dresses, especially in a lovely print, are perfect for these strangley warm October days.  The flowly silouette is both comfortable and flattering, with a belt accentuating the wastline.  Definetly a staple piece that can easily transition into the fall...whenever it arrives.
