His and Hers Style: 60s Mod

60s Mod
The 1960s is by far my favorite decade to draw inspiration from.  The period had such distinct fashion, and I’m very much drawn to the counter-culture styles that developed, especially those that derived from Mod style. The musical roots for 60s Mod subculture came from rocksteady, reggae, northern soul, and ska.  This largely music-based subculture with its affinity for Fred Perry attire, skinny jeans, and Doc Martens continues to be influential.  I’d love to snatch up some of the pieces above for my own wardrobe.

  1. Hey, this is Lulu. The sweater (J Crew cashmere/angora blend) and belt were from Goodwill. The dress was from F21, socks Target, boots Madden Girl. Thanks!
