Crimson and Collars

Digging this Asos dress. Love the Peter-Pan Collar, the contrasting stripes near the hemline, and its 1960s feel.  I thought I'd try another DIY, and I'm pleased with the results.  Wore it on an aftenoon date at Cal, which we spent having coffee and lounging on Memorial Glade.

Beer Revolution and Smiths Night

Headed to Beer Revolution, one of our favorite local spots in Oakland this past weekend.  I dig the laid back ambiance and selection.  The 90s served as inspiration in pairing a relaxed-fit floral dress with a blue wash denim jacket.  I also wore the comfy lace-up boots I thrifted recently, and my favorite bowler hat.  After trying some firsts at Rosamunde sausage grill, like rattlesnake and wild boar, we headed to San Francisco, for an impromptu Smiths Night.

…Be sure you wear some flowers in your hair.  Absolutely love this 60s song by Scott McKenzie, and it seemed fitting for our day out in Fort Point, which has sweeping views of the Golden Gate Bridge.  I  paired my diy floral crown with a fit and flare polka dot dress, and an oxblood cardigan.

Street Style on Campus- Jessica

Had so much fun hanging out with Jessica and her lovely friends on campus.  She's such a doll and has amazing personal style.  Jess mixes vintage pieces well and is most inspired by the 1950s and 1960s.
