Comeback kids

It's been a minute…I've fully enjoyed taking a semester off before starting grad school.  I definitely don't miss being a full-time student at Cal.  Jaze and I have had more time to spend together exploring, thrifting, working on music, getting more into photography and meeting amazing people along the way.

Hung out in San Francisco last week and had coffee and toast at the Mill (pretty much a must on a lazy Sunday afternoon).  I wore the comfy acid wash denim dress I thrifted a few months back and paired it with one of my favorite staples--my olive utility jacket.  Lately I've noticed that my closet consists of mostly staples and I don't mind one bit.  Classic pieces like our Levi's denim jackets, leather goods and Doc Martens are durable and worth the splurge. Also, given the perpetual overcast weather in the Bay Area, I can wear most of them year round.

Dress: thrifted, Jacket: thrifted, Boots: Buffalo Exchange, Hat: Obey Clothing, Cambrige Satchel: Crossroads
Jaze- Jacket: Levi's San Francisco, Shirt: Buffalo Exchange, Boots: Dr. Martens, Jeans: Asos

  1. I love the cool fall vibe in this outfit. Your jacket is wonderful.
You're definitely going to be happy you took that semester off before grad school. Grad school was the bane of my existence for two years and I'm so glad to be done! Good luck starting back at school!
